The thermostatic control unit is designed to control heating elements operating as part of laboratory or other equipment. The unit can be connected to a personal computer. Specialized software is provided to control the heating process and collect/process data from temperature sensors (logging data to files, displaying current data as parameter-time graphs, and controlling heating according to a set program).
The thermostatic control unit is a benchtop instrument, housed in a separate enclosure and equipped with:
A power section designed to supply power to the heating element; protection for the unit’s power system, capable of making, carrying, and breaking currents under normal circuit conditions, as well as making, carrying for a specified time, and automatically breaking currents under abnormal short-circuit conditions.
A control section responsible for monitoring and controlling the nature of the heating.
A converter for interfacing with a PC (software is included in the product package), as well as control elements and indicators.
The control section of the product is represented by the “Termodat-17E6” model device, designed for measuring and regulating temperature via two heating channels simultaneously (four monitoring channels, which are used in pairs for each of the two heating channels).
